Thank you! I know I'll have fun no matter what I'm doing on the ship! |

Pictures documenting the experiment would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
Hmmm...Maybe if I get one of those beer helmets and add some Mickey ears, they'll be none the wiser!

This also must be documented for posterity. |
Haha NO! I can guarantee that it won't be pretty. |

Hey everyone!
I'm back from my cruise and it was fantastic! I know many of you are interested in my thoughts on the AquaDuck. I woke up early on Sunday (the day at sea) to hop on. It opened at 9am and so the line was only about a 3 minute wait when I got there. At the bottom of the stairs leading up to it, there was a sign denoting it was a 20 minute wait from that point, and there were times I saw the line that long. The ship wasn't full, so I can only imagine how long the wait time will get on on a full ship! They had temporary queues at the ready should the line surpass the 20 minute point.
Ok, now my actual thought on it. It was neat for about the first half. The second was "meh." It was fairly slow moving. I'm sure it's more fun for kids. It's a nice feature and worth doing at least once for many people, but it was a "one and done" for me. I'd only go on it again if someone else wanted to go. Otherwise, I can do without it.
I've sent along information regarding dining along with photos to AJ over at Disney Food Blog, but if you have any specific questions regarding dining and such, let me know and I'll be happy to answer! |

Reading between the lines, you're saying that your drink survived fully intact from start to entry pool.
Good to know! |

Nice!
I received an email today that we can watch the christening live online tomorrow--I doubt I'll remember.
How was the theming?

Haha, yes pug. The drink they wouldn’t allow me to take survived
Moose, I saw both Lou Mongello and wdwtoday.com will be broadcasting live from the Christening and the ship.
Overall theming was great. Specific stand-outs included the Turtle-Talk-esque dinner at Animator’s Palate. They really went above and beyond the others. Very cool. Enchanted Garden & Royal Palace were nice. I loved the fountain at Enchanted Garden and how the mood changed with the lighting between day and evening. Royal Palace seemed very loud as it is very open and the noise just bounces around. Cabanas buffet was HUGE. I thought it was well done with a very beachy theme. They had some nice touches. I loved the relief sculptures that looked like each of the castles from all the parks, and they looked like they were made of sand. As for bars, I spent most of my time in 687 (the sports lounge) and Skyline (great ambiance but VERY small).

Thanks, pug - Clicking the link on my work computer doesn't work, but typing it in did. I suppose since I've visited it, the browser finds it.
