Like Frank said in his WDW thread, it's very cold here in the northeast. Anyone planning on going to DL sometime soon?
We leave the day after Christmas for 2 glorious days in DL. We can't wait!!! We really miss it and even though we get an occasional call from someone in the park, it's not the same as being there. _________________ *~deb~*

As much as i would love to be there after Christmas with you guys...it looks like my next trip will be in February. hopefully Monsters Inc will be up and running.
It is guaranteed to be better weather than we will have that month...so something to look forward to!

Maybe...just maybe when I am FINALLY done dealing with doctors, lawyers, judges and shrinks I will be able to get to DL. I haven't been there since April of '04....way too long to be away

Actually, y'know, I kinda' am! If the seeds I am planting bloom, then my parents will be sending me on a birthday (Dec. 27th... I'll be 28... Gawd I'm old)/graduation trip to DL for a week in early May. w00t! _________________ Daily departures for Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Mysterious Island, Island at the Top of the World, and more.
We won't be there until August - but it will be the first trip in 5 years. Funny, we used to go to DL more often than WDW but lately I've avoided the flight out to CA. Now that DD is older, it shouldn't be too bad. I'll have to get some tips from everyone before we go. _________________ Kathy

Here's the buzz...
My wife & I are thinking about it...
If we do go to DL (not WDW where we know everybody) it would only be for a couple of days, and probably around the weekend of May 12th. (Our anniversary is on the 15th, but that falls on a Monday. -Which is hard to work into our schedule.) Anyways,...it would be nice to see some familiar faces out there from this board an others -but we won't know anything definite until maybe March. I'll let everybody know more details later.
In the meantime, if any Anaheim locals with annual passes would like to share any info on what the crowd and weather situations are like during those dates, that would be nice! If my calculations are correct, Pirates will be down during that time (dagnabit!) but if there's any other refurbs or such scheduled that I haven't read about, please let me know.
I also need to see how many free passes my wife & I have left. Apparently, they are redeemable at WDW & DL, just not the oversea parks. And I need to make sure there won't be any trouble using them at the gate. Nowadays, the free passes have expiration dates on them, but we saved all of ours that don't expire. Between the 2 of us, we should have about a week's worth of passes. But we'll probably only use 2 or 3.
As I said, this is all just the pre-planning stage, nothing is definite.
-But it's exciting!
