Well, the results are in and it looks like the vote is
Walt Disney World in October
So, now we need to know if people can make it... _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

well at the country Bear Jamboree, the bears sing songs and play instruments, and at a Girl Scout Jamboree I've been told they sing songs, and eat s'mores, and Boy scout Jamborees are eating around a campfire and signing songs.
I have no idea what a UAB Jamboree is. Nor if it has food and singing like the others appear to all have. |

A UAB Jambporee is a gathering of the UAB membership where we get together for time in the parks, or meals or shows, spend time, get to know each other a little better in a place we all love. We also have small events with drawings and games/contests. We once had a personal private tour that was conducted by one of the admins in Disneyland. In WDW, we had a lesson on wine and food during the Food and Wine Festival. It all depends on what people want out of the experience. The main thing is to get together and have fun. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Interesting!
Well, as it happens, I was just planning a trip to WDW for next October, from the 8th to the 10th, to attend Congaloosh. This could be good or bad- it the Jamboree ends up being that weekend than boom I'm there. If it's a different weekend in October I'm not sure I can afford two trips to WDW in one month (though it is a year away, so we'll see).
Please keep us posted!!!!! |

Originally, I was against the Jamboree in October. But the timing is great when you consider the events going on at WDW in October: Food & Wine, MNSSHP, Congaloosh, and I think there is a marathon this month as well.
I would love to see a bunch of us at Bob's show at Port Orleans! That would be a blast!! For those of you that have never been to a Bob Jackson show...you are in for a treat! |

I voted for "maybe". We were talking about going to WDW next year anyways in Sept/Oct time. So I figure why not make it during the jamboree?
(And thanks for defining the jamboree - sounds like fun. I do remember going to those Girl Scout jamborees with lots of singing and smores.) |

This year's ConGaloosh was awesome and if the rumors about next year are true, it is going to be awesome also! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

An October trip is probably not on the schedule for 2010 for us. There were 3 trips in 2009 and January 2010. _________________ [ |
