As you know, we have Figment who travels to members houses so they can take pictures of him in their home or vacation environment. Then they share the pictures with all of us.
Unfortunately, we've had some issues. Currently, we've lost 2 Figments and have replaced time each time. The problem is that people make the commitment and then things happen and he gets lost or forgotten. I know people have good intentions, but this is a cost to us when he's not returned and we're just not sure it's worth the time, energy, or effort.
So, we will ask you, the members what you think. Please answer the poll and provide comments.
Thanks you. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

What! Lost Figments! You should charge a deposit. Keep Figment on the road. We enjoyed the little guy, and I heard his stint at rehab went well after he left here. _________________ [ |

I LOVE Figment! I recently had him for a visit here in Ottawa and although he didn't make it to me in time for my boat trip to the Thousand Islands (darn Canada Post!) I DID take some pics on the trip where I will be inserting Figment I plan to post his "adventures" tomorrow! _________________ Is it time to go to WDW yet? |

The Figment and PalMickey threads are some of the best threads on UAB.
It is a shame that the two figments have gotten lost. I tend not to think of things getting lost in the mail anymore. that is an unexpected expense I did not think about for this... |

Any update on this? I'd be willing to re-host the little purple guy. |

He'll be going on a new outing real soon, to a far off and magical place. Stay tuned for his continued adventures! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Figgy will be heading out this Friday for a short trip. When he comes home, he will be up for grabs anyone that would love to host him. _________________ *~deb~*

What a fun little adventure! This totally reminds me of in college where there was a little stuffed duck that went everywhere within a group of friends. I believe I got to accompany him to Montreal. If it's not still going on, maybe those who want to play asking can have a printable image to take around, I know I helped someone do that maybe 6 years ago, unfortunately her son passed away very young and never got to travel all the places he wanted to, so she had people print his photo and photograph it at a bunch of places. Since one of his wishes was to see pandas I brought him to the San Diego zoo. |
