We always loved this meal. And are very glad they are bringing back the
characters. |

We have done the character dining a few times in various Disney restaurants, but only on special ocassions. I find them over priced. We haven't done a character meal in the last 3 trips, and cancelled the one we had scheduled this past January at Liberty Tree because they had pulled the characters.
Other than taking my grandson, there is no reason I would consider a character meal. _________________ [ |

They are so expensive... I' love to take my kids to one, but to take family is major hit to vacation budget.
Not sure why they can not have a win win and have the meals from Sept to Feb, and not have them Mar - Sept. seems to me like this is a no brainer. |

They are exspensive but most have real good food.
We always do a couple character meals each trip. My DW and DD
would be heart broken if they didn't get their characters with their meals. |

Ya know, the restaurants are full because there is no place to eat. What Disney seems to be saying is "We don't care about the satisfaction of our guests, just so long as we're making money". They've been down this road before and it hurt them.
It almost sounds like they'd rather do away with all character meals, and make the place no better than a traveling carnival. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

It dose seem like that is where they are headed.
But it also seems very short sighted on their part????? |

Over the last few years, they had incresed the number of Character dining options because they were so popular. However, I think they are just now realizing how much it is really cutting into profits (which is what it seems that they really only care about the last 1-2 years)....
We never really went for charactes meals. We have actually one done and that was the Minnie breakfast one at DLR, mainly because it was only place in the park we could get a sit down breakfast... _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best! |

The thing is that they are not thinking about the profits.
In a 5 or 6 day WDW vacation we will do 4 or 5 character meals
The food is good but having a young child she loves the entertainment
and the pictures with said characters and authographs with them.
And I'm sure there are lots of families that are the same.
But without the characters many families, and mine, could be just as happy
at some food court where we would spend less han half of what we spend
at the character meals.
So like I said before, " They are very short sighted" ! |
