Yeah; I got the mix and a soft-serve ice cream maker for my birthday last year.
Serving wise, it's a little different, since I don't have one of those $1000 soft serve ice cream ferraris, but it still tastes great!
By the way, soft serve Dole Whip at the Polynesian = awesome.  |

HA! Well turns out I didn't have the right stuff to make it. BUT I did use my strong ice crushing blender to make them before and they were Mmmm Mmmm Mmm tasty!
Especially when you kick them up with an extra shot of 151!  |

The only catch is you've got to drink them fast...for some reason they melt really quickly once the 151 goes in.

of course I'm sure the "atmosphere" while drinking it is not as good as the real thing...

| This is a great post - Thanks for the link. Of course now my wife can hear me say "Dole Whip" at home now (not just when we pass it in Adventureland). I have small ice cream maker, but I would be willing to buy another one just for this! |

Ok, I got my Dole whip and Im trying it in my Ice Cream maker with the 1qt recipe and I cant get any good firmness to the whip... Its like melted ice cream.
Anyone else had luck with it? I think Im going to pick up the cuisinart one this weekend... |
