I'm sure you've heard these, but just in case...
Monte Cristo sandwich in the Blue Bayou restaurant.
You may want to check another thread that discussed places to eat. It talked a lot about a Dole Whip from the Adventureland plaza.
I don't know about character meals, so I can't suggest anything there... |

i like pizza port's salads and just about anything at carnation cafe. blue bayou is a must...but do lunch if you want monte cristos.
la brea bakery in downtown disney is great for breakfast.
i'm curious to see what the revamped, once-again-table service cafe 0 is gonna be like.
at dca, meh. i like the burgers at taste pilot's grille. everything else has changed since eating there last, so i can't really comment on that.
character meals...i rarely do these because i don't have kids and people in fursuits freak me out, but i remember the buffet at goofy's kitchen being lots of fun. the old pooh brunch at plaza inn was nice too. it's princesses now, i think. or at least it was last time i paid attention.

Whenever we visit Disneyland, we always try to have breakfast at the Carnation Cafe. Also, we never miss a dole whip in Adventureland. For dinner, we try to hit the French Market in New Orleans Square to eat the soup in a sourdough bread.
Have fun! |

I always hit Award Weiners over at DCA and Bengal BBQ in Adventureland.
I always avoid Village Haus in Fantasyland...haven't yet had a good experience, so i just go elsewhere.
Oh, Hungry Bear is another I love to go to...when it's open
For character dining i prefer Storytellers because I thught the food was WAY better!!!

I always go to The Blue Bayou, Pizza Port, Taste Pilot Stop at California Adventure! I also often stop at the Denny's across the street in order to aviod over priced food. I also stop at the Mexican Restraunt in Frontierland. That has always been a HUGE tradition!!! I always get the burritos there. They are to DIE FOR!!!! mmmm.... _________________ Attention travelers, please remain seated. Your vechile will be rotating backwards. -Spaceship Earth |

Seems the prices outside the park have crept up there as well...I'd rather eat n the park and enjoy the atmosphere for a few cents (literally) more. We did Mcd's one morning thinking we'd save money on breakfast...adn we did a little...but the prices were over what i would pay here--

Ok here's the itinerary:
1) Breakfast at the Riverbelle Terrace - that way you can get your Mickey Mouse Pancakes and enjoy the tranquility of the Rivers of America
1.5) Churro to hold you over
2) Lunch at Red Rockets Pizza Port - there you can get your Chicken Fusilli which is awesome!
2.5) Churro...heck it's vacation
3) Dinner at the Blue Bayou - doesn't matter what you eat, the food is awesome and you can't beat the atmosphere. Make sure you make your reservations with Disney Dining.
Ok you're all set.. and I am starving now! _________________ Dave.... |
