I just had an idea for a new game. (At least I THINK it's new).
XX Degrees of Disney. Think the Kevin Bacon game but with attractions, characters & movies. Here is an example:
Kilimanjaro Safaris to Aladdin -
Kilimanjaro Safaris -> lions (or giraffes) -> Jungle Cruise -> Adventureland -> Tiki Room: Under New Management -> Iago -> Aladdin
It's kind of like the other "Connections" game but with more connections required per round. Connections don't NEED to be Disney related but the start and end points do. (The more creative the connections, the better.) You can also increase the difficulty by requiring or forbidding specific connections (i.e. "Must include at least one connection at the Magic Kingdom" or "No attractions as connections")
What do you guys think?
Here's one to get started: Kilimanjaro Safaris to Body Wars _________________ '00 - Studios Merch (Stage 1/Tatooine Traders/Coaster Photo/Fantasmic), '05-'06 - Attractions (KSR), Dinoland Merch, '06-'07 - Concierge (Multiple Resorts), '07-'08 - Dream Squad (Aminal Kingdom), '10 - DVC Member Services |

Pirates of the Caribbean to DINOSAUR |

I dig this, and I think I have a good response for Pirates of the Caribbean to Dinosaur
Pirates of the Caribbean
-Movie starring Johnny Depp
-Johnny Depp starred on 21 Jump Street
-In 1990, an episode of 21 Jump Street called "Research and Destroy" aired
-The episode Research and Destroyed costarred Wallace Langham
-Wallace Langham stars in the itnroductory video for Dinosaur
I like this game

Here goes!
Haunted Mansion stars Wallace Shawn
Wallace Shawn voices Rex in the "Toy Story" series
Rex is a Dinosaur
A dinosaur is prominent in "Meet the Robinsons"
"Meet the Robinsons" has a scene in which Space Mountain appears
As you exit Space Mountain, you might see a sticker on a bag that reads "Mess Verde"
Mesa Verde is a possible destination on Horizons
This is really fun!

I've been gone for a while, but I definitely want this game to keep going.
Splash Mountain to Carousel of Progress:
-Splash Mountain has singing animatronic geese.
-Singing animatronic geese were originally in the America Sings carousel show in Disneyland.
-America Sings carousel show replaced Carousel of Progress in California.
Can anyone connect Kilimanjaro Safaris to The Country Bear Show in Frontierland? |

Okay, please "bear" with me...
Kilimanjaro Safari to Country Bears
The story used to be about poachers after Big Red
In 1962 Disney released a movie called "Big Red" about a dog
"Old Yeller" was also a Disney movie about a dog, starring Fess Parker
Fess Parker played Davy Crockett in the TV series
"The Ballad of Davy Crockett" was recorded by Tennessee Ernie Ford
Tennessee is the name of one of the Country Bears in the show
I truly enjoy this game!

Schinkus, I would give you extra points for working in "Little Ol' Tennessee Bear"
It's actually pretty easy to connect these two ...
Tower of Terror to It's a Small World:
Tower of Terror is inspired by the anthology series "Twilight Zone"
One episode of "Twilight Zone" called "Living Doll" was about a talking doll named Talking Tina.
There are a large number of talking dolls in It's a Small World
Bonus connection: I've had nightmares about both Talking Tina and being attacked by the dolls in Small World.
Okay, how about Adventures Thru Inner Space to The Indiana Jones Adventure? |

Adventures Through Inner Space to Indiana Jones Adventure
Adventures through Inner Space was closed to give way to Star Tours
Star Tours is, of course, based on the "Star Wars" movies
"Star Wars" starred Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford is also Indiana Jones
I enjoy having a more convoluted list of connections, but I kept running into walls this time!

Okay, I think I have it, but it may be a bit of a stretch (pun, sort of intended)....
Space Mountain is a celebration of the excitement of space.
Projected on the walls are asteroids and a black hole
A black hole is a space vortex
A vortex in the water is called ...
Maelstrom
Now, for full transparency: I don't think a black hole is projected on the walls anymore, but I am almost positive it was there when I was a kid (at least at Disneyland). I did just spend the last forty minutes researching this, but honestly could not find any articles on what was projected on Space Mountain's walls (except for references to the Choco Chip cookie). So, you either have to take my word for it or challenge me to a Disney Trivia dual.
While you decide my fate, I throw down this challenge:
Connect the Sonny Eclipse to the Tower of Terror! |

Here goes!
Sonny Eclipse performs music composed by George Wilkins
Mr. Wilkins also composed music for "It's Tough to be a Bug"
"Chili" is a character in "It's Tough to be a Bug" voiced by Cheech Marin
Cheech also voices "Ramone" in the "Cars" movies
There is a character in "Cars 2" named Otis
The Otis elevator company helped develope the ride system for Tower of Terror
Bison74, I'm not about to challenge your vault of Disney trivia!

Schinkus98, I don't have a response yet to Gran Fiesta to Great Movie Ride, but color me gobsmacked! That has to be one of the most elaborately connected two things EVER!
I am humbled. Now, Gran Fiesta ... Let me see ... Did Sid Grauman ever go to Mexico?

Schinkus, this one took me a while. Let me know what you think of this:
Gran Fiesta Tour stars Donald Duck
For the ride, Donald Duck is voiced by Tony Anselmo, who has been the official voice of Donald since 1985.
In 1988, he voiced Donald in the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is presented in the Great American Movie ride both in the finale montage, as well as props in the ride. It should also be noted that Donald's footprints were added to the forecourt in 1989, and while Tony may not have been present, he was certainly working as Donald's voice at the time.
Does that work?
If so, then make this here connection: Splash Mountain to Muppetvision 3D |

Splash Mountain to Muppetvision 3D
Splash Mountain is the story of Brer Rabbitt.
Brer Rabbit is voiced by Jess Harnell
Jess Harnell has been a voice actor in a ton of movies/TV shows, including "Pinky and the
Brain"
Also lending his voice to a few episodes of "Pinky and the Brain" is Jeffrey Tambor
Jeffrey Tambor played the antagonist in "Muppets From Space"
"Muppets From Space", of course, features the gang from Muppetvision 3D
Maybe not as convoluted as I like to get, but there you go!
