Hey everyone,
I just wanted to remind you that if you see a post with a link, DO NOT CLICK ON IT.
We've been getting a lot of spammers making User ID's and for the most part, they are not posting anything, but some are. I try and check as often as possible, and I have a process to get them so they cannot post, but we seem to be getting quite a few, so they may slip through the cracks and actually post.
We do not allow advertising of non-Disney related things, and we're cautious of things that could be considered viable. So to be safe, don't click on any link unless you check with one of the admins first.
We're looking into other methods to try and prevent these spammers from getting in so we can keep our site and members safe.
Thank you and have a Disney Day!! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Big Thank You DP - I appreciate your effort to keep the site clean and free from this "junk" ... I am always amazed that someone would do that --- but there all kinds in this world ... appreciate all you do for the listeners ...

The latest have been coming from Russia, and it's a marketing thing. People get paid for posting advertisements on forums, web sites, Facebook, etc. The more they post, the more they make. This batch of spammers appear to be checking which sites they can easily set up a bot to post for them, and the activate it later.
For the most part, I've stopped the posting, but occasionally, they get through. But since we remove them as quickly as we can, it's unlikely they are getting paid, so it's a wasted effort.
We do what we can to make the member happy and keep them safe! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
