So I'm trying to find out who does the knew vocal tracks for the WDW Haunted Mansion. A guy I know said it's done by Dave Matthews Band, but this is highly doubtable since the Duchess vocal seems to be that of a female. Also, does anyone know why the vocals for the knight in the graveyard were muted soon after the 2007 rehab? |

That's a great question and I too doubt that DMB have had any part of the attraction. I don't however have an answer--or know who might. It is recent enough that I'm not sure it would be caught in any trivia books. I also don't' have an official recording of that specific era of music to check.
If an official recording has been made, that's where I would look first.

There's no official release yet, & the source copies haven't leaked yet. I asked GRD whether or not he knew. He said that he e-mailed WDI about it awhile back, but they wouldn't disclose them. I'm sure they'll be released eventually, just like the old ones. The only original ones in the current Magic Kingdom one are the Mummy, Deaf Old Man & Singing Busts. All the others are new. |

I'll have to pay more attention when I'm down this fall--to hear if I hear much different.
I'm much more of a left-coaster so I'm MUCH more familiar with down there.
